Introduce your host of Washokuju Sakura in Seki, GIFU.

Hi, I'm Yayoi Sakurai. I was born and raised in Seki, Gifu Prefecture. I love English and would like to know the world outside of Japan. When I was a student in my 20s, I studied abroad in Los Angeles, USA and Toronto, Canada.  I really appreciated the people who took care of me at the homestay.  I was able to touch on the warmth of the people I met on the site and live a fulfilling overseas life.  I returned to Japan with a feeling to  welcome foreign people here.   Currently in local Seki city, the English conversation classroom opened. I am also accepting homestay. From June 2017, I obtained a certificate from the Cooking Association for Foreigners.   I'd love to bring more tourists to Seki city and to show the region that I am from. Guests from Australia stayed at Washokuju Sakura, enjoyed sightseeing in Seki. Continue their travel to Nagoya & Kyoto.

Mr & Mrs Twartz from Australia visited Seki city  to see their friend and stayed at Washokuju Sakura. They traveled from Kyoto to Seki by train.  It takes about 2 hours to get to Seki.  They told me not so far from Kyoto.  They enjoyed cormorants fishing, which is famous in Seki. They promised me coming back and staying at Washokuju Sakura in autumn next year. I'm looking forward to meeting them!                  How to get to Washokuju Sakura from Kyoto by train?                     KYOTO                     ⇩ (Bullet Train : about 40 minuets)                     NAGOYA ⇩       (JR Tokaido-Main Line : about 20 minuets)                    GIFU                     ⇩       (JR Takayama-Main Line : about  40 minuets)                    MINO-OTA                     ⇩.      (NAGARAGAWA Railway : about 20 minuets)                    SEKIGUCHI                     ⇩       (about 10 minuets walk)                    Washokuju Sakura🌸 <Japanese
