In Japan, we have so many things to prepare before New Year's day. <Oosoji (year-end cleaning)> It is tradiitonal to welcome the new year, by cleaning the house throroughly. <Osechi (the special traditional cuisine for the New Year’s Day)> Usually, it takes 3 days to complete this Osechi . Now a days, most people buy Osechi at supermarket or department store.
